Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) has been added to enhance your eHour account security, requiring both a password and a unique code from an authenticator app or hardware key.

Secure Accounts with 2FA

We added Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) to further enhance your account’s security.

Two-factor authentication is a security feature that adds an extra layer of protection to your eHour account. It requires a verification code generated by an authenticator app, along with your password, to grant access to your account.

Even if someone gets hold of your password, they still won’t be able to access your account without the unique code generated by the authenticator app.

Of course, 2FA was already possible by enabling SSO and setting up 2FA in your Microsoft or Google account, but we also now support it natively in eHour.
